The original game was first ported to the Wii Virtual Console on November 5, 2007. 3, the final installment of the Super Mario Advance series. A decade later, in 2003, it was remade for the Game Boy Advance as Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 was one of four games remade as part of Super Mario All-Stars, a Super Nintendo Entertainment System game release in 1993. It was first released in Japan on October 23, 1988, followed by North America on February 9, 1990, and in Europe and Australia some time in 1991.
It is the third game in the Super Mario series, not including Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels.
